When the HazMat Module Applies
The HazMat Module is selected for incidents involving hazardous materials — spills, releases, leaks, and exposures to chemicals, gases, biological agents, or radiological materials. It requires information about the material involved, the scope of release, response actions taken, and decontamination.

Station Draft and HazMat Coverage
Station Draft v0.1 does not yet include full HazMat module coverage. HazMat incidents require highly specific technical data — material identification, UN numbers, release quantities — that short narratives frequently do not contain in structured form.
HazMat module development is planned based on pilot feedback. Departments that run significant HazMat call volume are encouraged to apply for the pilot and provide input on HazMat coverage priorities.
