Station Draft and ImageTrend

Station Draft works alongside ImageTrend Elite and Edge — not instead of them. Officers produce structured NERIS drafts in Station Draft, then transfer them into their ImageTrend incident record for review and submission.

How It Works With ImageTrend

ImageTrend Elite and Edge handle your department's incident records, NERIS submission workflow, and data management. Station Draft sits upstream — it helps officers produce a structured draft before they open the ImageTrend record. There is no API connection between the two systems and no data flowing automatically.

The ImageTrend Workflow

  1. 1

    Officer writes a short narrative

A few sentences describing arrival conditions, actions taken, and incident outcome.

  2. 2

    Station Draft generates a draft

The narrative is mapped to NERIS incident fields with confidence flags (High / Review / Missing) for each field.

  3. 3

    Officer reviews the draft

The officer checks each flagged field. Review and Missing flags require officer input before the draft is usable.

  4. 4

    Officer transfers to ImageTrend

The officer copies structured output — or uses the PDF export — and enters the data into their ImageTrend Elite or Edge incident record.

  5. 5

    Officer submits through ImageTrend

The ImageTrend NERIS submission workflow runs as it normally does. Station Draft is not involved in submission.

ImageTrend Elite vs. Edge

Station Draft's export format works with both ImageTrend Elite and ImageTrend Edge. The structured data export is RMS-agnostic by design — it produces labeled field data that maps to standard NERIS incident fields, regardless of which ImageTrend product your department uses.

The PDF export provides a readable formatted draft that officers can reference while filling out their ImageTrend record. Neither export format requires any ImageTrend configuration changes.

What Station Draft Does Not Do

  • Connect to ImageTrend through an API or data integration
  • Log in to ImageTrend on behalf of the officer
  • Submit incidents to NERIS directly
  • Store incident data after the draft session
  • Replace ImageTrend or your department's existing NERIS workflow

Station Draft Is Not Affiliated With ImageTrend

Station Draft is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with ImageTrend, endorsed by ImageTrend, or a certified ImageTrend integration. ImageTrend, Elite, and Edge are trademarks of their respective owner. The workflow described here reflects how Station Draft's export format can be used alongside ImageTrend — it is not an official ImageTrend feature or partnership.
