1. Service Description
Station Draft is a draft-first NERIS incident reporting assistant. It generates draft incident records from officer narratives for review and use in existing RMS systems. Station Draft does not submit incident records to NERIS or any other system. Human officer review is required before any draft is used.
2. No Compliance Guarantee
Station Draft does not guarantee that drafts generated by the service meet NERIS Minimum Essential Information requirements or any other compliance standard. All drafts require officer review and verification before submission. Using Station Draft does not relieve departments or officers of their responsibility to submit accurate, complete incident records.
3. No Affiliation
Station Draft is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the U.S. Fire Administration (USFA), the Fire Safety Research Institute (FSRI), Underwriters Laboratories (UL), any state fire marshal office, ESO, ImageTrend, or any other RMS vendor.
4. Pilot Program Terms
Pilot access is provided free of charge. Pilot participants agree to provide feedback on Station Draft's coverage and accuracy. Station Draft reserves the right to modify or discontinue pilot access at any time. Pilot participants may not share draft outputs publicly without permission.
5. Data
By submitting narrative text to Station Draft, you represent that you have the authority to submit that information and that it does not contain patient personally identifiable information or other sensitive data beyond what is operationally necessary. You retain ownership of information you submit. Station Draft does not retain narrative text after sessions end.
6. Limitation of Liability
Station Draft is provided as-is during the pilot period. Station Draft is not liable for errors in generated drafts, missed NERIS fields, submission failures, or any other consequence of using or relying on draft output. Officers and departments are responsible for verifying all fields before submission.
